About Tent Peak Climbing
Tent peak climbing is best suited to those who are intending to step up from trekking to amateur mountaineering. Tent Peak also known as Tharpu Chuli offers the best short trekking peak climbing experience in the Annapurna region – way beyond simply trekking. This trekking provides the panoramic sceneries of Himalayas, including of the Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m) Mt. Manaslu (8163 m), Mt. Annapurna II (7937 m.) , III (7555m), IV (7525m), Mt. Nilgiri (7041m), Mt. Fishtail also called Mt. Machhapuchhare (6998m), Mt. Hiunchuli (6441m), Mt. Lamjung Himal (6986m),Tukuche peak (6920m), Tilicho peak (7134m).
The standard course for the trek is the North-West edge to the summit however numerous have moved through the South-East edge to the summit. After the flight of 30min from the ‘top of the Kathmandu’ i.e. Bokhara to Nayapul from where we starts our awesome trek in the Annapurna locale. When we reach to the extensive rock over hanging, which is known as Hinku Cave. While trekking we go through terraced farmlands, drifting through Rhododendron timberlands, along the fruitful belt and shimmering water of Modi River where you will feel the touch of characteristic and social greatness of trekking area of Nepal.
You will likewise see steep snow clad edges tumbling from Hinchuli to your left side and Machhapuchhre to your right side. There are some steep and ridge climbing sections that make this climb very interesting and quite challenging for those attempting to climb a trekking peak for the first time. The views from the summit of Tent Peak are arguably one of the best Himalayan vistas. The wild and stunning Annapurna Sanctuary offers the spectacular panorama of many 7000 and 8000 meter awesome Himalayan peaks including Annapurna I, III and South, Hiunchuli, Baraha Shikhar, Khangshar Kang, Tarke Kang, Ganapurna – a truly inspiring and memorable scene. - Day 03 – Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m) Duration: 6 hrs
- Day 04 – Drive to Naya Pul (New bridge), to Tikhe Dhunga (1495m) Duration: 4 hrs
- Day 05 – Trek to Ghorepani (2850m) Duration: 6 hrs
- Day 06 – Hiking -Poonhill (3180m), trek to Tadapani (2500m) Duration: 6 hrs
- Day 07 – Trek to Chhomrong (2020m) Duration: 5 hrs
- Day 08 – Trek to Dovan (2600m) Duration: 5 hrs
- Day 09 – Trek to Deurali (3200m) Duration: 4 hrs
- Day 10 – Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4210m) Duration: 5 hrs
- Day 11 – Trek to Tharpu Chuli Peak Base Camp (4910m) Duration: 3-4 hrs
- Day 12 – Summit Tharpu Chuli Peak (5653m), and return to ABC (4210m) Duration: 8-9 hrs
- Day 13 – Explore the hidden valley and trek back to Bamboo,
- Day 14 – Trek to Jhinu Danda (hot spring) Duration: 6 hrs
- Day 15 – Jhinu Danda to Pokhara, 5-6 hrs
- Day 16 – Pokhara to Kathmandu
